Kaiju no。8 is consistently one of THE BEST manga out there today！！ This volume continues to accelerate the pace， and we’re introduced to the First Division and their Captain Gen Narumi。Narumi is incredible。 This book is a LOT of fun but the thing that makes it really stand out is the characters。 Gen Narumi is yet another terrific character！ He’s a walking dichotomy， and his gunsword weapon is incredibly cool！！No plot mentions here—just go read this book and enjoy！！！！

Kafka continues to fight against the General Director and ends up having his Kaiju powers take over。 I have to say there is a lot more evidence to the idea of a Kafka/Kikoru ship is a good possiblity。 Hard to review this one without getting into a lot of potential spoilers。 Still， a lot of intense moments occur。

Kaiju No。 8’s presence in the military is revealed and becomes an official part of the team！ Yay！ It feels strange seeing our main character move into a new division sans all the supporting cast they’ve built up in the past volumes。 Hopefully that’s just temporary because I do not like the new team leader。 Still， what’s good in the previous volumes is still good here。 Great art， dynamic action， and very little filler。 If you’ve made it this far， you know what you’re getting。

Another super explosive volume！！！The first quarter of this was EXTREMELY intense！！ I felt so on edge and caught myself holding my breath and reminding myself I needed air！ LOL！ I didn't know what would be the outcome though the more the fight went on， the more worried I became。However， once it ended and the sound of a character said their name…I didn't realize a name could be so impactful。 VERY good！I confess that the middle was really good， but gah， I miss third division so much！！ Narumi create Another super explosive volume！！！The first quarter of this was EXTREMELY intense！！ I felt so on edge and caught myself holding my breath and reminding myself I needed air！ LOL！ I didn't know what would be the outcome though the more the fight went on， the more worried I became。However， once it ended and the sound of a character said their name…I didn't realize a name could be so impactful。 VERY good！I confess that the middle was really good， but gah， I miss third division so much！！ Narumi created a lot of conflicting emotions because I HATED what he said to Kafka， but it's hard to actually hate him when Narumi IS cool。 Ha！ He's different then everyone we've met so far and think it's a nice change of pace even if he still makes me mad at times。 LOL！ （Also his character design is awesome！）I never thought I would come to love Kikoru as much as I do。 I didn't dislike her before， but she wasn't my favorite。 However， seeing her "cheer" for （more like support and believe in） Kakfa and them "grow together" has been extremely awesome。 Like always， she can kick butt and look awesome while doing so， with this volume doing nothing less of showing how true that is。OH MY GOODNESS TO THAT CLIFFHANGER！！ I don't even know what to think because :o :o :o :o！！！ I'm scared and nervous about what will happen in volume six， but surely everything will be okay？！？！Overall， another fantastic volume in this amazing series！！ 。。。more

The first Division Captain is pretty funny as I do like that he is seen as both serious but goofy as we learn that he is basically a huge nerd that spends a lot of time on games and buying toys and figures。 It helps make him more then just a captain and the interaction between Gen and his vice captain was really hilarious especially seeing Kikoru's reaction to the whole thing。 The first Division Captain is pretty funny as I do like that he is seen as both serious but goofy as we learn that he is basically a huge nerd that spends a lot of time on games and buying toys and figures。 It helps make him more then just a captain and the interaction between Gen and his vice captain was really hilarious especially seeing Kikoru's reaction to the whole thing。 。。。more

Vu comment se terminait le quatrième tome， je peux vous dire que ce cinquième opus je l’attendais avec grande impatience。 Le voici le voilà et aussitôt reçu aussitôt lu！ Cette série ne me déçoit jamais， chaque tome est aussi fou que les précédents。 On ne s’ennuie pas du tout， c’est rythmé， c’est addictif et c’est surtout absolument génial！ Un shônen d’une grande qualité qui vous en met plein la vue à chaque tome！Dans ce cinquième tome， on retrouve Kafka qui a été démasqué et capturé par les Forc Vu comment se terminait le quatrième tome， je peux vous dire que ce cinquième opus je l’attendais avec grande impatience。 Le voici le voilà et aussitôt reçu aussitôt lu！ Cette série ne me déçoit jamais， chaque tome est aussi fou que les précédents。 On ne s’ennuie pas du tout， c’est rythmé， c’est addictif et c’est surtout absolument génial！ Un shônen d’une grande qualité qui vous en met plein la vue à chaque tome！Dans ce cinquième tome， on retrouve Kafka qui a été démasqué et capturé par les Forces de Défense qui le considèrent comme une menace。 Il se retrouve face au directeur Isao venu en personne procéder à son exécution！ Malgré ses efforts pour prouver sa nature d’être humain， Kafka perd rapidement le contrôle de son pouvoir face à la puissance du Kaiju N°2。 Il faut absolument qu’il reprenne le contrôle avant qu’il ne soit trop tard…Avec la fin du tome précédent， j’étais tellement curieuse de découvrir ce qui allait se passer pour Kafka maintenant qu’il a été démasqué！ On rentre directement dans le bain， on ne tergiverse pas et surtout on découvre que Kafka est dans une sacré panade。。 Il doit absolument retrouver le contrôle de ses pouvoirs pour éviter de se faire exécuter。 Il y arrive avec difficulté et finit par être sauvé。 Dans ce tome on rencontre Gen Narumi， le commandant de la 1ère unité des forces japonaises。 Ce mec a beau être le commandant et d’être un des éléments les plus fort， il est surtout un énorme geek qui passe son temps à jouer enfermé dans sa grotte。 On a même du mal à se dire que c’est la même personne！ J’adore son personnage， il me fait tellement rire et en même temps il est terriblement badass！ Il sait parfaitement se battre et ce n’est pas pour rien qu’il soit commandant。 J’aime tellement le fait qu’il soit totalement différent dans sa vie privée et dans son travail， c’est excellent。 Et je dirais même que c’est bien mon personnage préféré pour le moment！Encore une fois， ce tome ne m’a absolument pas déçu。 Le rythme est parfaitement bien maitrisé， c’est haletant， effréné， addictif！ Les scènes de combats franchement elles envoient du lourd。 C’est une vraie merveille à lire。 On en prend plein les yeux à chaque fois。 L’histoire prend une toute autre tournure maintenant que Kafka a été démasqué。 Chaque tome est surprenant et chaque tome nous donne cruellement envie d’avoir la suite tout de suite entre nos mains！ Tellement impatiente de découvrir la suite parce qu’on a encore une fois une fin pleine de suspense！ 。。。more
